Queer Self-Defense

Join us for free self-defense classes taught by self-defense teacher and expert Diana Nicols. This is a two-class series but you are not required to come to both.
The classes are hosted by OPA and will be held in the U.U Society of Oneonta on February 15 & 22 from 5-7pm.
We will learn elbow strikes, straight kicks, strangulation escape, defense against weapons and restraints, block/strike combos avoiding unwanted contact, and more!
Please wear comfortable clothing.

National AIDS Memorial Quilt in Oneonta

Details: Otsego Pride Alliance and SUNY Oneonta’s Women’s and Gender Studies Department are proud to bring this important piece of history to Oneonta in March of 2025 to continue to honor the lives lost to the AIDS pandemic. The entire quilt is too large to display, but sections of it will be available for the public to view.
